REMUS UUVS

HII is defining and building the next generation of smart defense and intelligence systems. Combining the power of cloud computing and edge devices with commercial and open source software, HII envisions seamless human-AI teams as the standard in future operations and is building the foundations to make it possible.

The REMUS 130 is the latest evolution of the REMUS 100 series, engineered to deliver enhanced underwater performance with maximum flexibility. Built on the same proven technology platform as the REMUS 300, it offers advanced capabilities and modular design at reduced cost and risk. Developed with internal funding, the REMUS 130 is tailored for customers seeking the long service life of REMUS UUVs with the open architecture and modularity of the REMUS 300 and REMUS 620 models.

REMUS 130 is powered by Odyssey, a cross-domain asset management suite enabling collaborative autonomy across missions and platforms for enhanced operational efficiency and control.

The REMUS 300 is a next‑generation, two‑person‑portable unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) engineered for maximum payload flexibility and advanced modularity. Built on the REMUS Technology Platform, it delivers increased capability, interoperability and mission adaptability while reducing cost and risk. Its open‑architecture design supports rapid integration of wet or dry payloads, enabling operators to tailor the vehicle for diverse defense, commercial and research missions.

REMUS 300 is powered by Odyssey, a cross-domain asset management suite enabling collaborative autonomy across missions and platforms for enhanced operational efficiency and control.

The REMUS 620 is HII’s second‑generation medium‑class UUV, engineered to deliver exceptional endurance, mission capacity and collaborative autonomy through the cross-domain Odyssey asset management suite. With a modular, open‑architecture design and field‑proven reliability, it offers unmatched flexibility for operations above or below the surface.

The REMUS 620’s extended battery life—up to 110 hours—and 275‑nautical‑mile range make it the longest‑reaching UUV in its class. Its versatility extends further when multiple vehicles operate collaboratively. The REMU 620 can be deployed from submarines, small manned or unmanned boats, amphibious ships, surface combatants, and helicopters. It can also serve as a host platform to launch and operate other unmanned vehicles or payloads from beneath the sea.

Mission planning, monitoring and analysis are powered by Odyssey Mission, part of the HII Odyssey advanced autonomy suite.
