The R5 Supreme NAV products are self-monitoring and extremely user friendly. The R5 Supreme NAV MkII systems utilises the highly versatile R5 CDU together with an R5 Navigation sensor. All R5 Navigation sensors are prepared in hardware to be upgraded to the PRO version. The PRO version offers several high accuracy upgrades, making the R5 Supreme NAV MkII one of the most flexible navigation systems on the market.
The large colour touch-screen display and intuitive graphical user interface makes operation both visually appealing and easy. Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring and options of redundant configurations gives maximum reliability. Add as many additional R5 CDU displays as needed using the network interface.
The Saab R5 Supreme AIS system is designed for SOLAS vessels and advanced applications such as Secure and Warship AIS.
It fully utilizes our fifth generation transponder technology, building on the success of the R4 AIS system, which is in operation aboard some 20,000 ships worldwide.
